EPTO is the trade association of the European Passenger Transport Operators, whose members are the six largest private public transport companies in Europe. Established in 2006, EPTO promotes the development of a competitive market structure for the supply of public transport services.  EPTO has worked closely with the European Commission in the development of transport policy particularly in the field of opening of the passenger transport market and competition law and membership is available to qualifying operators.
