Rail Live is just over a month away, and we’re pleased to share the latest session details with you!
10:30- 11:30: The British Transport Police will be conducting two twenty minute sessions back to back, followed by a 20 minute Q&A, where they can answer any questions you may have.
British Transport Police Specialist Capabilities: Protective Security within the Railway Network
This session will focus on how the BTP provides protective security for the rail network. This will detail each of the specialist teams within the department, and explain how they contribute to the safety and security of all who use the railway.

British Transport Police, Public Protection and Vulnerability command
This session will discuss the work being undertaken to protect and work with those who suffer mental health unwellness on the railway. this will also focus on the new Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG) campaign which has nationally been recognised as a policing objective, with BTP concentrating on how it can make travelling on the network feel safer to women and girls.
