The new MRS13R offers an effective and flexible protection solution against overcurrents. It provides fast and precise tripping of a circuit breaker that safely and reliably disconnects the circuit to prevent serious damage from overload or short circuit. This combination significantly improves the operational safety, reliability and recoverability of electrical systems in trains.
The MRS13R has an extremely fast response behaviour to overcurrent events and detects and reacts to an overload within just 20 ms. It therefore fully meets the requirements and wishes of our customers in the railway industry. The product was developed in close cooperation with one of our customers to fulfil their specific needs. The fast response time of the MRS13R precisely fulfils the customer’s need to increase operational safety in critical applications.
