Today, Angel Trains, one of Britain’s leading train leasing companies, announces Matthew Prosser as its new Technical Director. He will be responsible for delivering key management initiatives, while simultaneously improving quality and fleet reliability.
Matthew has over 23 years’ experience in rolling stock engineering, having previously held key roles in organisations across the rail industry. He joins Angel Trains from Chiltern Railways, where he held the position of Engineering and Safety Director. In his role, Matthew was primarily responsible for leading the in-house engineering department.
Matthew was a member of the executive team, playing an integral role in achieving an outstanding record of growth and customer satisfaction for Chiltern Railways – achieving the best overall NRPS satisfaction for a franchised operator.

Matthew Prosser succeeds Mark Hicks and will commence his new role on 8 July.
