Lucy Prior, International Trade & Membership Development Director and Rail Professional columnist, will be leaving the Rail Alliance mid-September and joining Leeds based RTS Solutions.  With close to 4yrs as part of dynamic team at the Rail Alliance, Lucy has played a key role in taking the business forward with businesses across the UK and overseas benefiting from her extensive knowledge and experience in the rail sector.

Working alongside Kevin McEvoy, RTS’ Operations Director, Lucy said, ‘It has been an exceptionally tough decision to leave the Rail Alliance which really has been home for me for the last four years.  I consider myself truly lucky to have worked with Colin and be part of an amazing team and also to have been able to forge deep working relationships with so many of our members, collaborators and stakeholders.  My role at RTS is a wonderful opportunity to apply much of the experience I have acquired at the Rail Alliance and elsewhere, as well as the chance to learn so much more and to help RTS develop and grow further.

‘And it goes without saying I will be a very proactive Rail Alliance member going forward, I’ve been there from the very early days and have every expectation that the organisation and its members will go from strength to strength!’

RTS Solutions is a transportation software engineering company that specialises in end-to-end integrated solutions that include incident and fault management, work site & resource management, and machine plant and asset/inventory management applications.

Colin Flack, Chairman at the Rail Alliance commented to say. ‘Lucy’s energy and sheer enthusiasm for what she does has been exemplary and she will be sorely missed not only by us but also members with whom she has become a very familiar face as a key member of the Rail Alliance team.  We wish Lucy the very best of luck and we look forward to working with RTS Solutions as a new member.’

The Rail Alliance will be attending InnoTrans later in September and will be making another announcement which will see the Rail Alliance cementing its position as a world authority on rail supply chain challenges.
