DB Schenker names customer service manager

David Cross has been appointed as DB Schenker Rail UK’s new customer service manager for its logistics segment.
He has a background in customer service for the maritime intermodal and logistics sectors.
‘Retailers need exceptional service delivery to encourage them to switch from road to rail,’ said Cross. ‘We have delivered that for a number of retail customers, leading to significant new business for rail freight. My role is to deliver further growth in this sector, and I look forward to achieving that.’
