Balfour Beatty appoints improvement guru
Mark Bullock has been appointed as director of operational Improvement for Balfour Beatty Rail, with responsibilty for reviewing current operating processes to create best practice solutions.
Bullock has previously worked in senior roles for BAA and EDF.
McClellan promoted to MD
International bookings agency Rail Europe has today announced the promotion of Karen McClellan to the position of managing director.
She has been with the company for 10 years, previously holding the positions of finance and systems director and deputy managing director. McClellan takes over from Vincent Dedecker, who has returned to his native France to take up a new position within Rail Europe’s parent company SNCF.
New managers help Keyline expand
Keyline, part of the Travis Perkins Group, has appointed two new managers to be based at its rail office in Canning Town, east London. Martin Shilling is Crossrail manager and Lee Bowering is a sales executive. Shilling was previously a sales manager at WT Burdens, while Bowering has come from a sales role at Clark Drain.
