Hodder to head Go-Ahead’s corporate affairs

The Go-Ahead Group has promoted Samantha Hodder to the role of group corporate affairs director.

Hodders has been with Go-Ahead since November 2001 in a number of positions, including head of communications at train operator Southern and communications director for the group's rail division.

Before joining Go-Ahead, Hodder worked in communications roles at Buckingham Palace and the Department for Education and Employment. She has also worked in local government, having begun her career as a local newspaper reporter.

She is a graduate of Manchester University and a Member of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations.

David Brown, group chief executive, said: ‘I am delighted to announce this appointment. Samantha has been a key member of the Go-Ahead team for a number of years. Her vast knowledge of the Group and extensive communications experience make her an invaluable member of my executive team.’
