Rail Professional sales manager dies
Katie Silvester
April 17, 2012
Paul Jones, who sold advertising for Rail Professional, lost his long battle with cancer at Easter. Jones, 52, had worked for the magazine for six years, but had been on sick leave since 2009 because of his health problems.
Outside of work he was a prominent local musician, better known in musical circles as Trevor Hogg or Oggy. In the years leading up to his death, he recorded several albums in his home studio, selling CDs to raise money for local charities, including the hospital which was treating him for lung cancer. He also played with the bands Carte Blanche and Charlotte's Lemon Flag.
He leaves a daughter, Annabelle, and wife Silvia.
His most recent CD, in support of The Fenland Road Safety Campaign, can be downloaded for £3.50 from http://charlotteslemonflag.bandcamp.com/album/in-a-nightmare-living-the-dream
