We are representing a global design, management and engineering consultancy that is growing their Rail business predominately in Queensland with some focus on other areas in Australia.
With numerous construction projects taking place across this region we are looking for an experienced Rail Leader to identify business opportunities and develop client relationships through their networks.
Having held a similar role within the Queensland market will be beneficial and you will act as the focal point within the group for Rail Infrastructure work across the full spectrum- heavy haul experience will be well regarded also.
Your expertise will provide input into strategy for the bidding process whilst providing technical guidance and overview to the Rail Projects. It will be your responsibility to recognise opportunities and generate profitable work from your relationships.
This role will enable you to provide technical expertise and overview to clients and to assist clients through technical decision making, providing options/solutions if there are changes within the Project. You will be managing on-going relationships with the client and influence decisions at senior levels in both the client organisation and the industry.
You will be assisting in the development of the region’s talent through coaching and mentoring encouraging innovation, entrepreneurial thinking and the drive to exceed client’s expectations. You will be meeting with influencers and decision makers within client organisations to grow and embed existing relationships and establish relationships with new clients.
The successful candidate will have a relevant degree and significant experience working within consultancies. Ideally you will be chartered and a recognised leader in a rail discipline with well-established industry networks, and a proven ability to network and influence at senior levels.
