This role is responsible for the compliant implementation of all FGW priced fare products, including those at permanent fare rounds, also temporary fare promotions and special fares, such as those for corporate customers. This role is responsible for ensuring that all fares implemented are compliant with the requirements of Fares Regulation. Other tasks undertaken include the communication of fares information to colleagues and customers, responding to fares queries from retail colleagues and managing content on the on-line ‘The Manual’ system.
The successful candidate will have a detailed understanding of the UK rail fares structure, excellent knowledge of UK railway geography, be process-driven and will need to be organized and methodical with excellent interpersonal skills. This role requires working to strict deadlines. Strong IT skills, including a good working knowledge of MS Excel are a key requirement.
