ABOUT THE ROLE
We currently have a vacancy for a Driver Manager based at our New Cross Gate Depot. This individual will be able to lead drivers in ensuring operational safety, carry out fitness and competence assessments of drivers and ensure that drivers are utilised in the most effective and economic manner possible so as to ensure the reliable operation of the train plan, contribute to improving train performance and achieve customer satisfaction targets.
The post holder should have strong interpersonal skills supported by a good knowledge of traction & train crew matters, including conditions of service, rostering practices, disciplinary and bargaining procedures.
The ideal candidate will seek to improve levels of driver performance in relation to safety and will have a motivational approach in relation to their driver team, always striving to improve employee engagement.lStaff.co.uk

Basic salary of £52,887
