Driver Standards Manager x3

The role of the Driver Standards Manager is to lead a team of drivers. This ranges from day to day management to setting and maintaining the standards which ensure Chiltern Railways meets reliability and punctuality targets. It’s a challenging and rewarding role at the heart of the railways.

Although you will be supported, you’ll be required to work unsupervised as you liaise with fellow managers at other locations about managerial, operational and assessment issues. You’ll also investigate operating incidents and accidents and make recommendations for improvements.

The successful candidates will have excellent communication skills (written and oral) and be able to lead, manage and coach their team. It’s a role that will appeal to hard working, self motivated rail professionals.

Relevant training will be given to successful applicants.

Circa £49,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

Birmingham Moor Street (O05/12),

Stourbridge (O07/12) & Aylesbury (O08/12)
